Need a wine that’s dark, bold and full of tannic deliciousness? This is that wine. Lots of jammy blackberry and black currants and blueberry notes in the beginning, followed by black pepper, dark cocoa and anise on the finish.

Food pairing notes
This is a great wine to pair with grilled and stewed meats. One of my favorites is a grilled filet or top sirloin steak with a melted blue cheese crust.

Somm notes
Petite Sirah was one of the first varietals I fell in love with, it’s so dark and full bodied, but has a clean and nuanced finish. It’s such a great alternative when you really like cabernet sauvignons, but just want to try something different. The experience is kinda like going from eating milk chocolate your whole life and then trying a gourmet dark chocolate for the first time, you’re like, “where have you been my whole life?!”
